It’s that time of the year again. The 3rd Annual Heart 2 Soul Festival has arrived. It is an opportunity where people give back to the community of Jane and Finch. It is a celebration of the youth and their families. A time when the community can come out and enjoy the day in their backyard with many events for the whole family. A lot of planning is needed to pull an event like this together. Everyone gets involved from sponsors, donors, community stake-holders, volunteers, a planning committee of creative individuals, graphic designers, photographers, and many more to make this event a success. This year, we have added some new elements to help everyone cope with the heat. As per usual, at the school, some of the events will be indoors and some of the events will be outdoors in the field across from the school. There will be the usual bouncy castles and activities for the children to enjoy. There will be tents for families to stay out of the sun and a water bottle re-fill station so that everyone can stay hydrated. So remember to bring your water bottles! Also, there will be motivational speakers, performers such as dancers, singers, and others. We’ve reduced the amount of Workshops this year to only one to ensure that you don’t miss as much of the entertainment and outdoor activities.
