Judith's bio deals a lot with having a great understanding of the youth in the Jane Finch Community.  She works for Youth Unlimited.  Youth Unlimited (Toronto YFC) is a faith-based charity that believes in the unlimited potential of youth.  YU is committed to helping the youth develop wholistically both personally and spiritually.  This is accomplished by providing caring people to whom they can turn.  Young people have a need for good role models that care about their well-being and Judith tries her best to be there for youth.

Bio of One Pouring Out Her Heart to See the Youth Succeed

Judith is all about pouring out her heart to see youth succeed in chasing their dreams.  It is all about building up their self image and helping to give them the tools to succeed.  Seeing the hope and potential in every young person, she participates in the transformation of lives and communities through wholistic development.  The well-being of every young person is dependent on a healthy community.  A healthy community can be created by a caring community.  When someone takes interest in you, it makes you feel good and allows you to soar to amazing heights.  Judith loves the fact that for over 70 years, Youth Unlimited (YU) has been imparting God’s love, truth, and hope to young people.  That is, to young people from all walks of life regardless of race, faith, economic levels, or cultural background.  That's why working with YU is such a great fit for Judith.

Non-Profit Organizations

Judith earned her M.Ed at York University and went on to work for Youth Unlimited as a Community Development Coordinator in the Jane-Finch area.  Most of her work experience has extensively been with non-profit organizations prior to this experience.  Therefore, she really understands community work and how important it is to engage with all levels of the community.

Networking for a Healthier Community

Judith aligns her work with YU's vision of peace and well-being for families and believe that Community Development is best accomplished when networking and working alongside community residents, faith institutions, organizations, businesses, service agencies, and caring individuals who want to engage Jane-Finch; making for an overall better and healthier community.

Funding Streams

Youth Unlimited is faith-based so they cannot, for the most part, necessarily have access to the many funding streams that non-faith based, Not-For-Profit Organizations are afforded. Therefore, Judith relies heavily on the generosity of people like YOU.  People like you to help her do her work effectively and help fund great events such as this one.  Please help and give today.
