Kathy Northwood

One of the Heart 2 Soul Fest Workshop Guest Speakers:: Kathy Northwood

Kathy Northwood began her career as a background performer and has worked with many film and television productions as a stand-in.  Finally, she made the decision to be in front of the camera.  Since then she has worked with award winning Hollywood actors such as Al Pacino, Denzel Washington, Vivica Fox, Liam Neesen and more.   She has even scaled a fence and been in a few take downs as a stunt performer.

Continues to Evolve

As the industry changes, Kathy continues to evolve.  She is currently the official acting coach for the reality TV show Top Million Dollar Agent.  Her work is often described as insurance for the agents.  The agents use television episodes to market themselves but they are not actors.  Kathy personalizes her coaching style both on set and privately to give  agents the tools they need to be successful on camera. She makes this heart pounding experience less intimidating for the non-actor.

Reinventing

In addition to acting, Kathy is a multi-task oriented entrepreneur who believes life is an event.  She continues to find new ways to reinvent herself while maintaining integrity and a love for helping people be the best they can be.
